This brass chandelier from the Broadwater hotel in Helena, Montana offers a small but great look at what one of the most elegant hotels of its time was like, circa 1930's. The elegant Hotel Broadwater and Natatorium complex was built in 1888-89 by Montana railroad, real estate and banking tycoon Charles A. Broadwater. The hotel was world-class, opulently furnished and fitted. The spectacular Moorish-style natatorium was the world's largest indoor pool, fed by over one million gallons of hot mountain spring water per day. This Impressive chandelier features a brass construction with ten arms and two light bulbs each for a total of 20 lights surrounding a ornate center section. The detail of the piece is simply fantastic, having a undeniable presents. It is in good condition and has been tested for function. It measures 39 1/4" D x 30 1/2" H
