British Victorian era sword. Beautifully etched and fashioned. A sword collector informed that he had seen a great many Victorian swords, but never one the same as this one. It most likely belonged to a Canadian Military officer during the 1800’s. However an unknown quantity was purchased from Britain by both sides in the American Civil War.
