<B>Scarce Map Titled <I>Seat of War in the Environs of Philadelphia</B></I></B></I> Revolutionary War map, 10.75" x 8.25", by Thomas Kitchin prepared for <I>London Magazine</B></I> in 1777 clearly the intent to inform the British public about the campaign of Sir William Howe. Area covered includes Pennsylvania, western New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware and shows many important roads including Lancaster Road, as well as the Delaware River, and other geographic details.
