Fine as partially refurbished. The revolver retains 90% original bright blue finish with some thinning on the barrel as well as muzzle wear and wear on the front edge of the ejector housing, a couple minor dings and scuffs on the housing and a small amount of minor spotting on the barrel. The refinished cylinder shows some minor scratches. There is a small area of flaking on the refinished trigger guard and the backstrap is a mix of original thin finish and smooth mottled brown patina over a small amount of pitting at the top and butt. The frame shows most of the case colors, most of which have faded to gray or brown, brightest in protected areas. The hammer retains 60% original vivid case colors with some minor pitting on the left side. The grips are very good with a couple of minor dings, light handling marks and crisp checkering. Crisp and clear markings. The action is excellent.
