[British Notables Autograph Album]
An autograph book, the first page reading, "Military Bazaar March 18th and 19th 1887" and containing approximately 200 clipped signatures laid down in series of 1 up to 6 per page. Leaves are fairly heavy stock and mostly disbound however includes signatures of notable statesmen, clergy, authors, artists, musicians, theatre performers, professors, medical men, Magistrates, distinguished women, Royal Family and military. Also 2 handwritten letters, one by Haggard and the other by James Bryce.
