British Miner’s and Sapper’s sword with brass mounted leather sheath, approx. 28-1/2” overall with an approx. 22-1/2” sawback blade marked “Moll” at the hilt on one side with reverse Rs and with broad arrow above “WD”and proofs on the other side of the hilt; blade is overall very good with scattered spots of erosion, brass guard and grip are also very good with a pleasing patina; the back of the quillon is stamped “1 GG 1”; thesheath is also very good with leather stitching good, some minor scuffs and slight crazing; brass throat and tip are beautifully patinated; top of throat marked “184” and “2NKNo9”. Buyer pays actual costs of packing, materials, shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
