British India, Victoria Queen, Divided Legend, Gold Mohur, 1841, Calcutta Mint, obverse: Lion standing to the left infront of a plamtree, Reverse: Young bust of Victoria Queen facing left. This coin has been authenticated and graded as About Uncirculated (AU) Details by NGC, indicating minimal wear with strong eye appeal and much of its original mint luster intact. Attributed as Type A/1, the coin features an early die variety. NGC has noted “Minor Filing”—a small surface adjustment likely made at the mint or shortly after, which does not significantly detract from the coin’s overall presentation. A scarce and attractive example, housed in a secure NGC holder with certification number 6917800-001, Very Rare
