Set of three different issued certificates between 1896 and 1901 plus 1880 Annual Report. 1) Jumbo Gold Mining Ltd, issued in 1897 at Spokane to James Routtage for 125 shares at $1 each. The company owned the Jumbo gold mine near Rossland, B.C. in the Trail Mining District (Canadian Mining Journal, 1896). Signed by M.R. Galusha as vice president and H.K. Galusha as secretary. Uncancelled. 2) Iron Mask Gold Mining Co., issued in Spokane in 1896 to James Rutledge for 100 shares at $1 each. Signed by J.A. Finch as president and F.E. Lucas as secretary. The company operated the Iron Mask mine at Rossland, Trail district, B.C. Uncancelled. 3) Cascade Gold Mining and Milling Company, Ltd., issued at Rossland, B.C. in 1901 to E.T. Kurtz for 500 shares at 10 cents each. Signed by Wm. B. Townsend as vice president and by the secretary (illeg). Uncancelled. 4) 1880 Seventh Annual Report of the Minister of Mines for year ending Dec. 1880 in the Province of British Columbia, Govt. Printing Office, Victoria. 17pp. This was an excerpt for the province likely out of the Annual Report for the country. Some of the gold districts covered include the Cariboo, Cassiar, Lillooet, Kootenay, Yale and Omineca. Silver districts mentioned include the Yale and Cowichan. Seven pages on the coal districts.
