<B>British Ambassador James Bryce Autograph Letter and Dinner Program</B></I>. James Bryce was Great Britain’s ambassador to the United States from 1907 until 1913. Included in this group is a one page autograph letter signed “<I>James Bryce</B></I>”, 4.75” x 7.25”, on British Embassy letterhead, Washington, 1909 a “<I>Mrs. Layne</B></I>” in which he thanks her for two papers she sent him. The letter has slightly toned with age and has the usual fold creases, else it is in fine condition. With the letter is a 9” x 12.25” program for the 14th Annual Dinner of the Pennsylvania Society, December 14, 1912 at which Bryce was one of the toastmasters. The front cover has detached from the internal contents and the paper has slightly toned, else it is in very good condition.
