INDIA, this Bride's necklace might have been part of her dowry and worn at the wedding. Of Brass and low Silver, it was also a trade item to Afghanistan and Iran. Early 20th C. or before, the central panel has been cleaned in more recent times. 28" long necklace, plus the pendant length, it has 18 faceted glass "gems" and was commonly used in Tribally arranged marriages.
