<B>Brian Froud - Goblin Sketch Original Art (1984).</B></I> Brian Froud moved to Devon and opened a studio with fellow artist Alan Lee in 1975, launching two fabled careers in fantasy art. <B>Ultra Violet Catastrophe</B></I>, <B>The Wind Between the Stairs</B></I>, and <B>Are All The Giants Dead?</B></I> are among Brian's most renowned books. <B>Faeries</B></I>, which Brian co-illustrated and wrote with Alan Lee followed in 1978, reached number four on the <B>New York Times</B></I> best-seller list. <B>Goblins</B></I> was published in 1984, and Brian made his first forays into film work as the conceptual designer for "The Dark Crystal" and "Labyrinth" movies under director Jim Henson. This goblin pencil sketch, a wonderful example of Froud's work, has an image area of 3.5" x 7", and the art is in Excellent condition. <I>From the collection of Richard and Wendy Pini.
