Brass belt plate marked “C.S.A.”, approx. 2” x 2-3/4” showing a heavy patina overall and with three integral belt mounting prongs on the back of the plate; from the famous William D. Langlois collection of Civil War artifacts, many of hispieces were pictured in the Civil War Encyclopedia. Langlois was also an undercover police officer who wrote books on Law Enforcement techniques. Not Authenticated. Est.: $300-$600.
