Brass barrel large bore pistol marked “London” converted to percussion with Ketland & Co. lockplate, approx. .60 cal., 8-1/4” octagon barrel with Belgian proof and what appears to be the remnants of a British proof, full length woodstock, brass mounts; contained in a later-made wood compartmental casing with old iron bullet mold, powder measure, later cleaning brush, wood cleaning rod and wood ramrod in addition to mounted brass-tipped ramrod present with pistol.The gun is in overall good condition showing a dark patina, action working at time of description, wood has been cleaned, barrel shows scattered old mars and denting from years of service; casing is overall good as a later-madeaffair, which we would estimate circa mid-1900’s.
