Brass gaming counters bearing an image of Queen Victoria on the obverse and a crown with three feather plumes surrounded by the words // HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE // inside the rim. It is attributed to King Edward III, and translates to "Shame on anyone who thinks evil of it." It is the motto of the British chivalric Order of the Garter, the highest of all British knighthoods. Interesting story of how that phrase came to be, and worth looking up.
