Color glossy 10 x 8 photo of the 2TV1 crew, signed in black felt tip by Vance Brand, Joe Kerwin, and Joe Engle. The 2TV1 was a ‘mission’ conducted on Earth in a vacuum chamber simulating a space trip in an Apollo module as accurately as possible. This unique pose shows the strain and camaraderie forged during such exercises as Brand hides behind dark glasses, Kerwin twirls flowers in his hand, and a seemingly exhausted Engle ‘relaxes’ with an intravenous tube in his right arm. In fine condition with a couple of creases, a paperclip impression at the lower left corner, and Brand retracing his signature.
