Stoker was an Irish author (1847–1912) best known for his horror classic Dracula. Irving (1838–1905) was a prominent British stage actor who was the first of his profession to be knighted. LS, signed “H. Irving,” written in the hand of his secretary, Dracula author Bram Stoker, two pages, 5 x 8, Lyceum Theatre letterhead, July 11, 1896. Brief letter to an unidentified gentleman sending good wishes and thanks for roses, and expressing his wish to see the recipient. Mild soiling, handling wear, and a pencil notation to top edge, otherwise fine condition.
