ALS, two pages on two adjoining sheets, 5 x 8, Henry Irving's Fourth American Tour letterhead, November 13, 1893. Handwritten letter apologizing for an error, in part: "As to the notes I found that Mr. Howson made a mistake & attended to some other letter which he had got on the same day. How he did this I am unable to understand but I deeply regret that any…error should have been made especially under the circumstances." In fine condition, with a few light creases.

Stoker worked as business manager for Henry Irving's world-famous Lyceum Theatre in London between 1879 and 1898, where he supplemented his income by writing a large number of sensational novels—his most famous being the vampire tale Dracula, published in 1897.
