Quarto. 541 pages. Photographic frontispiece of the smiling author by Nik Grant.

Olive green buckram binding with gilt lettering on spine. This particular example appears to have just come from the bindery - clean and sharp and exceedingly scarce. Fine condition.

An extremely rare issue, being the transcript of a 21-hour interview conducted by the UCLA Oral History Department in 1961. The typewritten transcript is the only official version of this interview, however an unidentified individual removed the original transcript from the UCLA Library and photocopied the 8.5 x 11 inch sheets, made 15 more copies and had them bound in leather with a frontispiece photo (originally taken by Nik Grant). Understandably, Bradbury was upset and did his best to acquire all extant copies. While we do not know how many he was able to remove from circulation, there are probably less than two or three remaining. From the Robert and Diane Yaspan Collection.

Shipping: Books & Catalogs (view shipping information)
