A lovely print with the subject matter titled: A Boy With Rabbit. The artist was Sir Henry Raeburn of Scotland and the print is estimated ca 1909. The subject was Raeburn's stepson who was deaf. Sir Henry Raeburn is perhaps the most well known Scottish painter. He certainly is one of the most highly guarded Scottish portrait painters. He was born in Stockbridge near Edinburgh. This Print comes with the original Wood Frame accented in Golds and Bronze tones. It was professionally framed and has the original paper sticker on the back which reads: National Service of the Print Guild of America. The whole framed print measures 18 1/2" ny 15 1/2" with the inside measuring 16 x 19. Due to the age of this frame there are some knicks and chips along the sides of this frame. There is a water mark in the lower left corner, but very faint, it merely shows the outline of the watermark and have tried to show this in my image. I acquired it at an estate auction. The brief history about the artist and print comes with this piece as I have included from my research. This framed print would make a lovely addition to an older or new home due to the subject matter.
