<B>Boy Commandos #17 Davis Crippen ("D" Copy) pedigree (DC, 1946) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white pages.</B></I> The Boy Commandos in outer space? Well, with no Nazi menace left to fight in 1946, why not? The team's creators Joe Simon and Jack Kirby teamed up on one story in this issue, and there's also some Kirby solo work in these pages. This one's tied with the Mile High copy as CGC's highest-graded to date. Note that a small plastic stabilizing peg is loose inside the CGC holder, not affecting the comic itself or the integrity of the holder. Overstreet 2006 NM- 9.2 value = $420.
