<B>Boy Comics #3 Mile High pedigree (Lev Gleason, 1942) CGC VF+ 8.5 White pages.</B></I> This is the first issue of the title, featuring the first appearances of both Crimebuster (the kid star of the series) and Iron Jaw (one of the most visually striking villains ever and Crimebuster's archenemy). The numbering was continued from <B>Captain Battle Comics</B></I> (there's even a blurb to that effect at the bottom of the cover, just in case any kids were scouring the stands for <B>Captain Battle</B></I> #3). This came out so early in Lev Gleason's publishing history that Charles Biro isn't credited as an editor yet, but he did supply writing and cover art here. Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $1,931; VF/NM 9.0 value = $3,216.
