Boxlock non-ejector shotgun marked “Built Expressly For A.W. Gamage, Ltd. Holhorn, London, E.C.”, .410 gauge, 28” barrels, blue and case hardened finish, checkered wood stocks, double triggers, #36729. The watertable shows British nitro proofs for 410 gauge and the gun is British made, possible by Greener or Webley & Scott; the right barrel is choked IMP CYL to CYL, the left barrel is choked IMP CYL to CYL also; thestock measures 13-1/2” from the front trigger to the original grooved wood butt; the condition is good to very good with 80-90% thinning blue to barrels, traces of case hardening going to silver grey to frame withgood sharp engraving; stock is very good with fairly crisp checkering with many small scratches and minor marks; the gun locks tight; the bores are good to very good with some light erosion that may clean. A classic410 that would date about 1910 to 1930 from the styling. Est.: $1,250-$2,500.
