Our Assessment: This is Smith & Wesson’s Model 1950 .45 Target, which was made in 1955. During this period, Smith & Wesson N-frame revolvers often came in maroon-colored boxes and this revolver comes with its original box and cleaning supplies. The gun looks great for a revolver of its age with a good bore and light marks in its otherwise rich blued finish. For the dedicated S&W collector, this is a great find with serial matching parts and box in this kind of condition. You likely won’t see another like this for a long time. Please see our photos and good luck!
