Captain Kangaroo bound scripts from the 1965 season. Typed scripts include episode numbers, characters, the complete plans for the sketches and dialogue, stage directions, prop lists, costumes and musical cues, with occasional handwritten notes in pencil scattered throughout. Five volumes comprise scripts from January, May, June, August and September 1965. Episode numbers include 2350 through 2370, 2436 through 2478 and 2501 through 2535. Bound in black cloth boards with gilt lettering and light red edges, each measuring 8.75'' x 11.25''. Set weighs 18 pounds. Faint sunning to boards and slight cocking to spines, else near fine.
