Bottega C. Giovanelli Signed, Engraved and Gold Inlaid Winchester Model 94 Italy Anagni 25th Anniversary Commemorative Lever Action Carbine

Only 25 of these carbines were manufactured to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Winchester ammunition plant in Anagni, Italy. This example is number 11. There is extensive floral scroll engraving on the receiver with flourishes of floral scroll engraving on the buttplate, lever, forearm cap and magazine tube cap. The left side of the receiver is gold inlaid with the bust of Oliver Winchester with a lawman to the left of him and an Indian to the right, there is a cowboy in the background and the ammunition plant is shown below them. The right side of the receiver has a relief gold inlaid Winchester logo and a banner marked "25th Anniversary 1964-1989". There is a gold inlaid border around the outside edge on both sides of the receiver. The rear portion of the barrel has gold inlaid floral scroll designs and the muzzle end has two gold inlaid bands. The lower left side of the receiver is signed "Bottega C. Giovanelli". Has a blade front sight and an elevation adjustable buckhorn rear sight. Mounted on a nicely figured, finely multi-point checkered walnut forearm and straight grip stock with curved steel buttplate.

Excellent, 99% of the original blue finish remains with some minor wear on the barrel from attaching the forearm cap and a few minor handling/storage marks. The coin finished components remain bright with some scattered minor dings and handling/storage marks. The wood is also excellent with a few scattered minor marks.
