Vietnam War-era pair of official United States Army Service Uniforms issued to Sib Hashian as a first lieutenant in the Ordnance Unit of the 4th Infantry Division. The first uniform consists of an ‘Army green’ coat with four-button front, size 37R, polyester and wool, with nameplate to right chest, “Hashian,” and ribbon bar to right chest with 4th Division Infantry patch for the Division Support Command (DISCOM), Civil Affairs Team suspended below. The lapels bear U.S. and Ordnance Corps insignia pins, and the shoulders feature 4th Infantry Division and U.S. Army Vietnam insignia, and 191st Ordnance Battalion and first lieutenant pins. Interior of coat retains measurement and instruction tags. The uniform includes the matching service trousers made by Becker Uniforms, with manufacturer’s tag originally issuing the pants to “D. D. Zwally, 93rd OC, 10-28-69,” and a beige dress shirt with inner collar marked “H3445S.” The second uniform is an ‘Army green’ winter service uniform with four-button front, size 36 regular, 100% wool, with United States Army Central patch to left shoulder. Interior of coat retains measurement and instruction tags. Includes the matching AG-44 (Army green) Type 1, Class 1 trousers, wool serge, size regular W30/L34, an official wool Army Service Uniform cap by Flight Ace with first lieutenant pin, and Hashian’s Army-issued M1 steel helmet, stamped “6,” with a liner with six-point suspension system, adjustable web straps, and headband, with sides of shell featuring insignia for the United States Army Ordnance Munitions and Electronic Maintenance School. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by the original airlines shipping bag with baggage sheet and tags.
