Interesting unsigned handwritten notes by Boris Karloff, responding to three questions posed to him in a letter by George Freidman, one page, 6 x 9, July 25, 1967. Friedman asks, in part: "Will you be making any more pictures? Who devised your screen name, and does it have any special significance? Was Bela Lugosi as menacing off-screen as on?" Karloff responds tersely in the margin in blue ballpoint: "Yes, Family name, No." In fine condition.
