"<I>Gene Cernan Apollo XVII</B></I>" (Eugene Andrew Cernan March 14, 1934) flew in Gemini 9A, Apollo 10, and commanded Apollo 17 in 1972. "<I>Scott Carpenter</B></I>" (Malcolm Scott Carpenter, May 1, 1925) was selected in 1959 to participate in Project Mercury. "<I>Gordon Cooper</B></I>" (Leroy Gordon Cooper, Jr., March 6, 1927) was one of the seven original astronauts in Project Mercury. "<I>Dave Scott Apollo 15</B></I>" (David Randolph Scott, June 6, 1932) commanded Apollo 15 and walked on the moon. "<I>Tom Stafford Apollo 10</B></I>" (Thomas Patten Stafford September 17, 1930) piloted Gemini VI in 1965, commanded Gemini IX in 1966, and commanded Apollo 10 in 1969.
