Typed Harper & Brothers letter dated 29 May 1962 reads in part ''…Maurice Sendak has agreed to illustrate your 'She Loves Me…She Loves Me Not…''' The letter then ends with a bit of literary advice reading in part, ''…The ending is somehow not completely satisfactory, and I wonder if you will try to improve it…there ought to be some better way to finish the book…'' Single-page on Harper & Brothers stationery measures 6.25'' x 9.5''. Near fine.
