Western Union telegram regarding the infamous Bonnie & Clyde, who famously evaded law enforcement before their ambush and killing on 23 May 1934. In this telegram dated 3 August 1934, FBI man F.J. Blake informs his boss, the Director of the Division of Investigation at the Justice Department (before it changed its name to the FBI in 1935) that he had arrested Mary O'Dare. Telegram reads, ''Mary Chambless O'Dare arrested Wichita Falls last night complaint authorized by United States Attorney charging her with aiding harboring Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker Federal fugitives at various places between January nineteenth and May twenty third this year / Blake''.
