<B>Republic 8 Soles 1859FJ Po 400 Gs,</B></I> KM138.1, lightly toned XF, weakly struck on the center of the reverse, but an attractive example of this very rare one year type with the obverse legend reading Po 400 Gs. This coin is apparently new to the numismatic insiders of Latin numismatics, having recently surfaced in Europe. When we sold a VF specimen in January 2004 (ex-Geiger and Von Schuckmann) we noted that only six pieces had been reported.
