<B>Felipe II cob 8 Reales Assayer L over B,</B></I> choice VF-XF, lightly cleaned long ago and now beginning to tone, superb details on both sides including a readable P mintmark and bold L assayer. The L is clearly punched over a B. The planchet is virtually round and a considerable amount of detail is readable in the peripheral legends. This L assayer, exact name unknown, operated circa 1580 at Potosi.
