Lot of 6, including: 1) RPC with caption: "Main Street, Bodie California," and "Frashers Foto, Pomona, CAL," printed at center bottom and right corner. Yellow substance on reverse, possibly glue to attach image to backing. "Pub. By Frasher's, Inc., Pomona, Calif." printed on the reverse. 2) RPC of indoor meeting hall with caption: "Home of the Bodie Calif. Miners Union, Organized 1877. Frashers Foto - Pomona. Yellow residue on reverse appears to have attached image to backing. The first two lots above are trimmed to a smaller size and had been adhered to album pages at one time. The remaining four photographs are real photos from the approximate 1900 period. 3) Image of rolling hills covered in snow, with "Bodie Winter" hand-printed in pencil on reverse. Measures 5 1/4" x 3", with medium contrast and good focus. 4) Photo of one man and two women standing behind snow bank, in front of house. "Mr. Allen, Mama, & I," and Julia & Leulla Murphey" written in pencil by two different hands on reverse. Measures 5 1/4" x 2 3/4", with high contrast and good focus. 5) Photograph of house with several feet of snow in foreground and "Joel House" hand-written in pencil on reverse. Measures 5 1/4" x 3", with high contrast and good focus. 6) Image of multiple structure, primarily houses, nearly buried in snow. Drifts cover lower portions of poles on right side of photograph. Measures 5 1/4" x 3", with good contrast and focus.
