Five different banking documents that provide a nice variety from Bodie, CA. 1) 1879 check from The Bodie Bank. $100 made out to A.P. Johnson. Spindle holes and toning. 2) Letterhead from J.S. Cain. Datelined Bodie, Mono Co., Cal., Oct. 30, 1896. Addressed to Bullion & Exchange Bank in Carson City, NV. Cain is telling them a check has been received and credited. Signed by Cain. Measures 5 1/4" x 8 1/2" Fold lines. 3) Similar-sized letterhead from George W. Penter, Banker. Datelined Bodie, Mono Co., Cal., Dec 10th, 1886. Addressed to T.R. Hofer in Carson. Informing him of a $20 credit. Signed by Penter. Spindlehole. 4) Deposit sheet for E.L. Benedict, Successor to George W. Penter. Datelined Bodie, Cal., Aug. 6th, 1890. Addressed to the Bullion & Exchange Bank in Carson. Lists four transactions from Kirman & Rickey totaling $614. Signed by Benedict. Stamped received Aug 8, 1890. Fold lines and spindle holes, and a 1 1/2" tear. 5) Mono County treasurer warrant. Datelined Bridgeport, Mono Co., November 1st, 1875. J.T. Poe will be paid $66.66 for Oct. 1875, "salary co. judge.
