These three Boch of Belgium flow blue delft plates represent great history in ceramics. They show Dutch scenes--here a sailboats at sea and are in excellent condition.

Boch Frères Kéramis was founded by Victor Boch in 1841 in La Louvière in Belgium. The Boch family had been producing pottery from 1767 in Luxembourg and settled in Belgium after Belgium and Luxembourg separated in 1839.

They began making pottery from the Kéramis factory using the trade name Boch Frères and produced earthenware and stoneware, including white-bodied earthenware for household and table use and pieces in the style of Delft and Middle Eastern pottery.

These plates are 6 3/8 inches in diameter with a 6-inch inner diameter. Each plate has a blue rim. They are made of 3/8-inch thick porcelain. I offer them as a set but can sell singly at $50 each.

These plates will make an excellent addition to a Delft collection!
