Signed (post-stroke) on a bookplate affixed to the first free end page, “Robert T. Jones, Jr” (inscribed “To Spike Clines” in type above the signature). In very good condition, with gift inscription under bookplate, owner’s bookplate affixed to inside front cover, and a small crease and paperclip impression to signed bookplate. Dustjacket is soiled and creased, with heavier tears and stains to back and paper loss to spine and edges. Spike Clines was a champion regional golfer originally from Louisville, KY, who won the Kentucky Amateur Championship in 1932, 1934 and 1939. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
