Golfer (1902–1971) who, in 1930, became the only Grand Slam winner in the sport’s history, taking the U.S. and British Open and U.S. and British Amateur titles. Over the course of his career, he would win a total of four U.S. Open titles, five U.S. Amateur titles, and three British Open titles. Great vintage 7.25 x 9.5 photo of Jones sitting on a bench, signed and inscribed in fountain pen in middle age “For Robert Lloyd Jones, With best wishes, Robt. T. Jones, Jr.” In fine condition, with lightly trimmed edges and tape remnant along top edge on reverse. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
