American musician and songwriter (1905–1975) credited with inventing Western swing, a lively hybrid of musical influences that added drums and a brass section to traditional country music instrumentation. Vintage ink signature and inscription, “To Irine, Best wishes, Bob Wills,” on a 3.75 x 2.5 slip. Slip is affixed to a 6 x 4 off-white card via a clipped photo affixed to lower right.
