Gold Hall of Fame postcard has been hand-signed in blue felt-tip pen by Bob Lemon (D. 2000, Indians HOF).

Bob Lemon started his professional career at 17 years old with the Cleveland Indians, where he played his entire career with. He started his career in 1941 as a utility player, he then left to serve in the United States Navy. When Lemon returned to the Indians in 1946 that season was the first in which he would play at the pitcher position. In 1948 the Cleveland Indians played in the World Series in which they were helped by Lemon's two pitching performances as they won their first World Series since 1920. 1954 proved to be his best year where Lemon went on to a career best 23-7 record and the Indians seat a 154-game season American League record win mark when won 111 games before they ran away with the American League Pennant. Bob Lemon was an all-star for seven consecutive seasons and had seven seasons of 20 or more pitching wins in a nine year span from 1948-1956.
