Desirable handwritten poem in pencil by Bob Dylan, signed "Dylanism," one page, 8.5 x 11, taken from his circa 1960 'Poems Without Titles' penned while at the University of Minnesota. An interesting 'story within a story,' beginning and ending with Dylan on his toilet. In the middle, he writes of two midnight trysts:

"My broad last night had it
she was wild—she was cool
she was hip—she was beat
she was frantic—
she was what I needed…
But then the lights came on
and she was gone—
out of sight
but not out of mind."

A second rendezvous ends in the opposite manner:

"But again the lights came on
and she was gone / out of mind—
but not out of sight."

In fine condition. A fine piece of work using a classic story structure, with language that echoes the title of his great 1992 comeback album, Time Out of Mind.
