National Track and Field and Olympic Hall of Famer, who held the world record in the long jump for 23 years. Intense vintage glossy 9.25 x 7.25 press photo of Beamon in the midst of a long jump, signed in blue ballpoint. Reverse of photo is stamp dated February 21, 1968. In very good condition, with trimmed edges, scattered creases and ripples, and spotting to finish. Beamon's jump is still the Olympic record.
