Five blueprints for the store and building of Mr. A.A. Brundidge done by architect Frederick J. DeLongchamps. DeLongchamps (1882-1969) graduated from UNR with a degree in mining engineering in 1904. After working in Inyo County in mining, he returned to Nevada in 1907. From 1909-1938, he had his own very successful architecture firm. He was also the only person ever appointed Nevada State Architect (1919). From what we can find, Brundidge's building (which was a well-known art supply store) is not one of the works completed by DeLongchamps. Thus, DeLongchamps may have either drawn these plans as a proposal that was never adopted or his connection to this building is previously unknown. Each sheet measures approx. 38.5" x 25." Soiling, stains, and some large rips. Please inspect. From the Gordon Harris Estate. [Ref:http://knowledgecenter.unr.edu/materials/specoll/mss/NC1215.aspx]
