Kerri Palangio is a Toronto artist, born in North Bay, Ontario. Although her initial degree was in Biochemistry, she graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Drawing and Painting department. Her paintings are inspired by nature, the photographic process, and her work in the scientific laboratory.
Kerri likes to experiment with materials, tools and techniques; looking for surprising and ambiguous results. She is fascinated with the unintended outcomes that occur while painting as they seem to reveal the subconscious mind at work.
