Vintage glossy 10 x 8 photo of the Blue Angels, inscribed in fountain pen in an unknown hand, “To ‘Jerry’ Doerger, Warm personal regards from the Blue Angels of 1957,” and vertically signed by the pilots below their image. Signers are: Bill Oleson, Tom Jefferson, Herb Hunter, Bruce Bagwell, Sheldon ‘Lefty’ Schwatrz, Bob Rasmussen, Nello Pierozzi, and Ed Holley. In fine condition, with scattered creases. Rasmussen would go on to become the director of the National Museum of Naval Aviation. A famous artist, he would go on to create such notable pieces as ‘Naval Aviation In Space’ and ‘Navy on the Moon.’
