"WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS BY THE AUCTIONEER ONCE ALL BIDS HAVE BEEN PROCESSED TO DETERMINE THE WINNER FOR EACH LOT."
Incredible autograph letter signed by infamous burlesque dancer Blaze Starr, who had once been engaged to Louisiana Governor Earl Long. In a letter to a fan, Blaze recounts a clandestine tryst with John F. Kennedy: ''Oh yes there was a lot of things I didn't tell in my book or the movie 'Blaze.' In Jan. 1960 J.F.K., Jackie and L.B.J. from Texas came in the Show-Bar where I was performing in New Oreleans [sic], La. They joined Govener [sic] Earl K. Long who I was engaged to at the time, at his table. I joined the table after my show. Jackie left after about ten minutes. I had known J.F.K. since 1952. He was a regular at a club I worked in D.C. At closeing [sic] time the party, some of Earls friends and a dozen show girls went to the Roosevelt Hotel where Earl kept a suite. L.B.J. said lets make Earl jealous. So I took J.F.K. by the hand and danced toward another room. He led me right on into a large closet. L.B.J. stood guard at the door. I tied my 'Bra' to a door knob and a hanger. Earl was so busy talking he didn't miss us at first. We were havin a grand old time, when I heard Earl hollerin, and yellin, where is Blaze and that young Kennedy feller? I put my sweater on, I already had my skirt and shoes on, and came out. J.F.K. hid in the back of the closet, Earl said what in the world were you doing in there? I said with panic, my mink coat is missing. While everyone hunted for the coat, J.F.K. came out of the closet. J.F.K. said it was harder to win my body than any election he had ever been in. Well Friend take care and drop a line when you find time. Your Very Dear Friend, Always, Blaze Starr''. 8.5'' x 11'' paper is adorned with a sexy self-portrait sketch, a lipstick kiss, etc. Fine condition.
