Blackinton maker marked stamped law enforcement badge circa early to mid 20th century with black enameled “Captain Texas Ranger CO. E” in overall very good condition showing some high point wear. The badge is displayed nicely in a frame with a metal backing that has been laser printed with a picture of Captain Jerry Gray on horseback, circa 1918. Also accompanying the lot is the early photo used to print the display’s backing photo. From an old New Mexico collection and it is our understanding the badge was purchased in the 1970’s from a Tom Keilman auction in Texas. Est.: $500-$1,000.
