This is from the Blackfoot (Blackfeet) Native American Indians and shows a beaded strike-a-lite bag. The piece has a long top strap, as it was worn around the neck, with early 19th century chevron trade beads. The bag front shows wonderful well preserved and 19th century glass trade seed beads sinew sewn to the Indian tanned hide. The piece has a rusted military button on the front and hanging cut fringe with tin jingle cones. The inside of the bag has a trade clothe lining. The exact age of the piece is unknown, but appears to be an early well crafted collectible. Measures 9.5"x3.25" with an additional 16.5" top strap.

This is a legal agreement between you, the user or buyer, and North American Auction Company. You must be at least 18 years old to bid. North American Auction Company. All sales are made on an AS IS - WHERE IS WITH ALL FAULTS basis. All buyers are urged to physically inspect the item during the inspection period. No bids can be withdrawn after the auction for any reason. Consent to Suit in Montana. In the event of legal proceedings arising from this contract or from the auction in connection therewith, buyer consents to being subject to the personal jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Montana. Buyer also agrees that venue shall be in Gallatin County, Montana and that the laws of the State of Montana shall govern this Agreement and the parties' transaction hereunder. The BUYER expressly agrees to indemnify and save the Auction Co., Seller and their assigns harmless from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damage or liability, (including, but not limited to, attorney's fees), directly or indirectly caused by or resulting from Buyer's negligent acts or omissions or breach of this agreement, except for damages caused by or resulting from the Auction Co.'s sole negligence. All items must be paid for prior to removal; if storage arrangements are not made in advance of bidding on items. Storage will start March 22th 2015 and will be charged $10 per day per item. If there is a dispute on the authenticity of an item, the only professional opinion that will be considered is from a curator of a well-known museum.
