Black-bellied plover ca 1870-1890 in Spring plumage with tack eyes and a split tail by Capt. Wyer, Nantucket, MA. In good OP with in use touch up. Bill is an iron nail. Wyer is mentioned multiple times in the Mackay gunning journal back in the 1800's. He is one of the earliest Nantucket makers. "CHET" on the bottom in paint. (decoy)

However, an intention of return must be expressed to the auctioneers within 14 days after you have received your decoy. The decoys need not be returned within 14 days but we must be notified within 14 days of your intention to return them.

<BR><p>4 - The Auctioneers reserve the right to reject any opening bid or bid advance not commensurate with the value of the article being offered.

<BR><p>7 - The highest bidder acknowledged by the Auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the event of a dispute between bidders, the Auctioneer shall have the sole discretion as to who was the successful bidder or he may re-offer the disputed item at his discretion.

<BR><p>8 - Full payment of each purchaser’s account must be received on the day of the sale. Payment must be made by cash or check, unless other arrangements have been made at least two hours prior to the auction.

Personal checks will be accepted only if the Auctioneers have received a bank authorization guaranteeing funds or other credit references are provided.
