<B>Black Hood/Hooded Detective Group (Columbia, 1941-42) Condition: Average GD.</B></I> Includes the September 1941 issue of <B>Black Hood Detective </B></I>and the November 1941 and January 1942 issues of <B>Hooded Detective</B></I>. <B>Black Hood </B></I>was a one shot, whose title changed to <B>Hooded </B></I>for two issues before becoming <B>Crack Detective</B></I> for several years. The Black Hood himself started out in <B>Top-Notch Comics </B></I>and <B>Jackpot </B></I>by MLJ (creators of Archie) in 1940 before making the leap to pulps. All three of these pulps are listed as "scarce" in Bookery's.
