It was first created in the 1870s during the Black Hills Gold Rush by a French goldsmith named Henri LeBeau, who is said to have dreamed about the design after passing out from thirst and starvation. Black Hills gold jewelry depicts leaves, grape clusters and vines, and is made with alloys of gold, silver and copper. The ring shows a beautiful oval cut citrine gemstone stone with a approximate carat weight of 8.11. On either side of the gemstone is a lovely Black Hills gold flower. The ring band shows a beautiful design incorporating sterling braided rope and floral design. The ring measures a US size 4 ¼.
